What paints do you use? Are they safe?
We exclusively use professional-grade, hypoallergenic face paints from Kryolan, Diamond FX, TAG, Mehron, Face Paints Australia and Fusion Body Art — six of the most respected brands in the industry. All paints are EU compliant, water-based, non-toxic and dermatologist tested. They are specifically designed for use on skin and can be removed easily with warm water and soap.
Are you insured?
Yes! We carry £5M public liability insurance through Salon Gold. You can book with complete peace of mind knowing you're protected.
How many children can you paint in 2 hours?
Allow around 12–16 guests per hour on average, or around 12 per hour for detailed designs. A fast service using simple designs can accommodate up to 30 guests per hour and costs more; arrange this when requesting your quote.
Is there a travel charge?
Travel is free within Sale for venue postcodes starting with M33. For other areas, a travel fee of £10–£30 applies depending on distance and is confirmed in your quote.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 1–3 weeks ahead, especially for weekend dates during summer and around Halloween. That said, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings — just drop us a WhatsApp message and we'll do our best!
Do you do a patch test for allergies?
Our paints are hypoallergenic and suitable for most skin types. If a guest has known skin sensitivities, we recommend a patch test 24 hours before the event. We'll always ask before painting anyone with sensitive or broken skin.
